Care Instructions
Wood frame: Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth or with a suitable wood polish. Do not use any harsh cleaning products.
Inlett: The cushion filling is made of extremely soft, open cell foam. To maintain the excellent properties of this material in the long run, the cushion should be cleaned accordingly. The best cleaning procedure for the inner cushion is to wash it with a commercially available mild detergent at temperatures up to 60 °C on a gentle wash cycle. It is not recommended to use highly chlorinated and chemically aggressive washing additives. A brownish discoloration of the foam can not be avoided, but has no effect on the quality of the foam. After washing and rinsing please remove as much water as possible through the spin cycle. The inner cushion can be best dried by air on a rack. It can also be tumble dried at 90 °C, but please avoid over-drying. Please plump up the inner cushion regularly so that it retains its fluffiness and shape.
Cover: Most stains can simply be wiped off or brushed out, or removed by vacuuming the surface of the cover carefully with an upholstery brush. If necessary, the covers can be machine washed. Please wash and dry the covers according to the care instructions below.
Cover (Sand, Mocca): The cover is machine washable at max. 40 °C on a gentle wash cycle or can be dry cleaned. After washing, let the cover air dry on a rack, do not tumble dry. If needed, iron the fabric only at the lowest level without steam.
Cover fabric (Hemp): The cover is machine washable at 60 °C or can be dry cleaned. After washing, please let the cover air dry on a rack, and do not put it in the dryer. If needed, iron the fabric only at the lowest level (synthetic).
Cover faux fur: The faux fur cover can be washed at 30 °C on a gentle cycle or can be dry cleaned. To ensure the faux fur stays fluffy and soft, shake out briefly after washing and leave it on a rack to air dry. Please do not put into the tumble dryer.
